=> Make sure you have installed the new version of the .dll (copy it to the system directory, then install the .reg file)
* Open "DefByNameIconHandler.ini" and change the path references so they match the correct directory on your computer. Copy it to the windows directory and rename it to "ByNameIconHandler.ini".
* Install the "install_example.reg" file.
* Reboot (LOGOFF/LOGON will work too).

Open up the "Test" folder - all looks normal, the specs work just as the old prefixes did.
Inside the "Test" folder, open "XByNameIconHandler.ini" and change the path references so they match the correct directory on your computer.
Rename "XByNameIconHandler.ini" to "ByNameIconHandler.ini"
=> In principle, the 'green_FROG_file.gak' icon should change now. It won't however, because Windows hasn't updated the icon list (the icon is cached against the filename). So rename the file to 'blue_FROG_file.gak' - see? The local .ini file takes precedence, so because the filename contains "_FROG_" it is red and green. Rename it to something like "blue_FROOG_file.gak" and it will go blue (the default .ini file takes over).
